v-Tuner-A Real radio guide
What is v-Tuner?
Step 1: What is v-Tuner?
v-Tuner is listed first because it is essentially a blended player and website. It is a software program using the RealPlayer as a platform that allows for quick and easy discovery and listening of thousands of stations broadcasting in every media format.
Step 2: How does it work?
The v-tuner is a shell that sits on top of your RealPlayer, showing you the thousands of stations broadcasting and letting you save the ones you discover for later playback. It is essentially a much-improved interface for the RealPlayer that also has video, television, and Webcam programming.
Step 3: Cool features come at a price
The v-Tuner has 2 versions, one is free and the other is $29.99. The paid version has some great features such as programming for later playback (like a VCR), and ratings of the station's stream. Also, you don't have to look at ads on the paid version.
Step 4: What is on the free version?
The list of web programming stations is on free version (along with ads). It also has the ability to add stations that you find on your own. If you want to use the product to its fullest, plan on getting the paid version. There is no demo version, so get the free one and decide.
