Enuff Z'Nuff - Tweaked Spitfire Records
Artist: Enuff Z'Nuff
Title: Tweaked Spitfire Masters Series
Label: Spitfire Records (http://www.spitfirerecords.com)
Enuff Z' Nuff is a true to life rock and roll band with
all the trimmings.
Great guitar, bass and lead singing, with plenty of hot n'
sweaty loud
n' proud appeal. What Spitfire has done with their catalog
should
spark some interest in this heretofore under appreciated
group. The
album "Tweaked" is no doubt the best that I have heard from
this
group (standby, there are three more I have to listen to). I
can
understand what the reference to tweaked means,
but the cover is
another matter. It looks like a funeral march by some
English folks.
Sometimes groups do things that mean something to them and
no
one else, I believe this may be the case with this CD…or is
there
some inner meaning to it all? Who knows? for that matter,
who
cares? It's all about the music. Enuff Z' Nuff get their
long awaited due with
this outstanding masters series from Spitfire. If there was
ever a label
on the rise, it's Spitfire. They obviously see the value and
marketability of the older groups. They realize that a lot
of good music
was made and not recognized, as it should have been. This is
a fine
example of bringing an unheralded group to the forefront of
our
collective musical consciousness. This is a
classic rock album and a
must for anyone that considers themselves to be a
self-proclaimed
rocker. Get it an rock!
