Vince Martell - Endless High Timeless
Recordings
Artist: Vince Martell Title: Endless High Label: Timeless
Recordings Since his days with the Vanilla Fudge Vince Martell has contributed countless years
to the music industry as one of the most brilliant and influential guitar players. New life has just
been given to his career with a knockout website (linked to the Vanilla Fudge site) and an exciting
and electrifying collection of songs called "Endless High." The CD gets a major kick start with
a real rocker called 'Cause I Love You. Vince's guitar breathes fire and makes some twist and turns
that will really turn your head. He has the ability to let the bottom fall out of song and wind it
right down then bring it all right back with more force and volume the second time around. Changing
back and forth from totally rockin' to soft and tender several times in song is difficult thing to
do, Vince makes it seem so natural and easy. The best music in the world is being made by those
that have been making it the longest. Normally this is reserved for the blues and jazz genres. Old
rockers never die, they just get older, and better in this case. Martell dishes out a nice
mixture of styles ranging from rock to blues. On "The Court Of The Crimson King", John Garner of Sir
Lord Baltimore fame renders his deep voice to the fray and transforms the mellow acoustics to a
mystical and powerful message. It all leads you to the climax of the story, then Vince plugs back in
a rips off some charged up licks again to end the tale with the forcefulness of his primary weapon,
his six string. He is like the king in his court orchestrating the kingdom at his beckoned call.
I am certain that this fine release will gain more attention for Martell as a solo artist. The
Vanilla Fudge catalog will most certainly benefit from his work. Everyone connected to the artist
will feel the ripple of the buzz that will travel like the speed of light through music circles and
cyberspace. Vince Martell is back, and he is carrying a gun that's locked and loaded with an itchy
finger just waiting to pull the trigger. It's pointed straight at you. Are you ready to rock? 01.
