Hans Ebert

Sri Lankan-born Hans Ebert, graduated from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom with Honours in Art, English Literature and English History before Majoring in Mass Communications and Psychology.

Starting his working career in Journalism, Ebert worked for various newspapers and magazines such as Billboard, the world's leading music trade publication and Rolling Stone. Personalities he has interviewed exclusively have ranged from Internationally-renowned film directors such as Roman Polanski and Martin Scorcese, musician and Producer Quincy Jones, Author Arthur C Clarke and actors and musicians as diverse as John Lennon, Billy Joel, Rod Stewart, Lionel Ritchie and Queen.

While still continuing his passion for journalism, Ebert joined the world of advertising and where he worked in Chicago, New York and then in Hong Kong where he was named Executive Creative Director for DDBN in the Asia and where his major accounts included McDonald's, Seagram, CSL Telecommunications and helped in the launch and marketing of Asia's first satellite television station-STAR TV.

In advertising, Ebert won every major International Award for Creative Excellence including the highly-coveted Clio Award in New York for an anti-pollution campaign.

His career in the music industry began when he joined PolyGram Music as Regional Creative Director and, following the purchase of that music company by Seagram and which became Universal Music Asia, he worked for this new music company in the same capacity.

He left Universal to join EMI Music Southeast Asia in 2002 as Executive Director in late 2007 when the company was purchased by private equity company Terra Firma.

Artists that Ebert has worked with include singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado, the late Barry White, Enrique Iglesias, Country Music Queen Reba MacIntire, Gorillaz, Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue and for whom he blended the sounds of Western Pop with Asian and Eastern musical influences and artists.

Also a musician, Ebert has written and produced hits for Jacky Cheung, the best-selling Chinese artist in the world, Danish Pop Group Michael Learns To Rock and Canto-Rock Pioneer Sam Hui.

At We-Enhance, Ebert, as Chairman and CEO, oversees all aspects of the Company's Creative and Marketing product and is actively involved in all aspects of New Technology and, with it, New Business Opportunities.
