Margee Fagelson is a Music Media Consultant and former artist manager. She got her start in the music industry as the college radio promotions manager for Blackheart Records, Joan Jett's label.
She moved to New York in 1996 with hopes of becoming an Entertainment Lawyer and Artist advocate but a job in the exciting world of music technology turned her head. As the music afficionado in the Business Development department of The Music Boulevard Network, she managed some of the larger company-wide projects and also developed unique marketing programs for some of Music Boulevard's strategic partners. When Music Boulevard was acquired by CDNow, Fagelson had to choose between her love of technology and her love of music.
In February of 2000, Margee Fagelson chose to bring both her worlds together again by making a name for herself in the corner of the world where music and technology come together again.
Margee Fagelson is also co-founder of The Circle, a monthly music business forum in New York City.
